| Endothelial NO synthase produces nitric axide (NO) which plays a crucial role in cardiovascular homeostasis. Activation of the enzyme and NO production can be induced by phosphorylation of eNOS at serine 1177 by activated Akt/PKB. | | | Catalog # | N5350-26A | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | ELISA: 0.1ug/ml | | Western Blot: 2ug/ml for HRP/ECL detection. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1,k | | Clone No | 9L393 | | Host | Mouse | | Concentration | As reported | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in 2X PBS, PEG, sucrose, 0.09% sodium azide, 50% glycerol. | | | Purity | Purified by thiophilic adsorption and size exclusion chromatography. | | Immunogen | Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to aa residues surrounding S1177. | | Specificity | Recognizes eNOS phosphorylated at serine 1177 at ~140kD. Species crossreactivity: human, mouse. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
