Nuclear pore complexes are extremely elaborate structures that mediate the regulated movement of macromolecules between the nucleus and cytoplasm. These complexes are composed of at least 100 different polypeptide subunits, many of which belong to the nucleoporin family.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence microscopy and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionImmunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:10; Incubation time 1 hr at RT (frozen sections; also after fixation with paraformaldehyde).
Western Blot: 1:30-1:50 (ECL method).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
