| SPARC, also known as Osteonectin and basement membrane protein BM-40, is a phosphorylated glycoprotein with calcium-binding domains. It is secreted by endothelial cells and is present in large amounts in the parietal endoderm of mouse embryos and in human placenta. SPARC may be involved in cell proliferation, repair of tissue damage and morphogenetic processes such as modeling of extracellular matrix. | | | Catalog # | O8063-09 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Direct ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilutions | Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 8-25ug/ml detects Osteonectin on mouse ovary tissue. | | Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug/10e6 cells. Balb/3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with saponin. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG2b | | Clone No | 10B2762 | | Host | Rat | | Source | Mouse | | Concentration | ~0.5mg/ml (after reconstitution) | | Form | Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.4, 5% trehalose.
