HybridomaX63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

SpecificityRecognizes native chicken ovalbumin. Crossreactivity with egg albumin from other species has not been tested. Epitope specificity differs from that of clones 6F157 and 8C6 as determined by inhibition ELISA. Shows high affinity for OA in its native form, but does not recognize denatured OA.
