| Neutrophil cytosolic factor 1 (NCF1), a 47kD cytosolic subunit of the multi-protein complex known as NADPH oxidase. Expression of NCF1 is restricted to granulocytes, monocytes and B lymphocytes. Defects in NCF1 have been reported to be a cause of autosomal recessive chronic granulomatous disease. | | | Catalog # | P1001-24E | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml. Detects a band of approximately 47kD in U937 cell lysates. A minimum incubation time of 1 hour is recommended with this antibody. | | Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. | | Recommended Secondary Reagents | I1904-61G IgG H&L, X-adsorbed (HRP) DkxSh | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Goat | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~0.5mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in TBS, pH 7.3, 0.02% sodium azide, 0.5% BSA. | | Purity | Purified by affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Peptie sequence CSESTKRKLASAV corresponding to the C-terminus of NCF1 (NP_000256). | | Specificity | Recognizes neutrophil cytosolic factor 1 (NCF1).
