Neutrophil cytosolic factor 1 (NCF1), a 47kD cytosolic subunit of the multi-protein complex known as NADPH oxidase. Expression of NCF1 is restricted to granulocytes, monocytes and B lymphocytes. Defects in NCF1 have been reported to be a cause of autosomal recessive chronic granulomatous disease.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 0.2-2ug/ml. Detects a band of approximately 47kD in U937 cell lysates. A minimum incubation time of 1 hour is recommended with this antibody.
Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
