| DJ-1, otherwise known as PARK7 (Parkinson disease protein 7), a member of the peptidase C56 family, highly expressed in skeletal muscle, heart, pancreas, liver, kidney and testis, which plays a role in transcriptional regulation and reaction to anti-oxidative stress. DJ-1 exhibits cell-growth promoting and transforming activity, and protects neurons against oxidative stress and cell death. Defects in PARK7 are responsible for the autosomal recessive disorder early onset Parkinson disease 7. | | | Catalog # | P3110-99G | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
