| DJ-1 protein has 189aa and was cloned from a HeLa cell cDNA library as a novel oncogene, which weakly transformed NIH3T3 cells. The expression of DJ-1 is induced by growth signals and it is translocated from the cytoplasm to the nucleus during the S phase, even though no nuclear localization signals are present. It has been suggested that DJ-1 is a mitogen-dependent oncogene product involved in Ras-related signal transduction pathway. | | | Catalog # | P3110-99W | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
