The intestinal peptide YY occurs in glicentin cells in the gut. They are found in the rectum, colon, ileum, and to a lower extent in the duodenum and jejunum. PYY may occur in endocrine tumors of the pancreas and the rectum.

Recommended DilutionsImmunohistochemistry (frozen, paraffin-embedded tissue): 1:50. Dilute immediately before use with PBS or TBS.
No protease pretreatment required.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
