Multi-drug resistance (MDR) associated p-Glycoprotein (p170) causes resistance to various drugs in a number of cancer patients. It exists in a soluble and membrane associated form. Soluble p- Glycoprotein is detected in extracellular fluids of cancer patients, such as malignant ascites and serum. The Mr of soluble p-Glycoprotein is the same as that of membrane bound p-Glycoprotein.

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
