There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The intestinal alkaline phosphatase gene encodes a digestive brush-border enzyme. This enzyme is upregulated during small intestinal epithelial cell differentiation.
ApplicationsSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:50-1:100
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt at 4°C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
