| Phosphodiesterase 7B, a cAMP-specific phosphodiesterase, has been shown to affect cAMP-mediated neural activity and cAMP metabolism in the brain. PDE7B activity is inhibited by dipyridamole, IBMX, and SCH51866. At least three splice variants have been isolated for PDE7B from rats and they show tissue specific expression patterns. | | | Catalog # | P4072-07H | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~0.5mg/ml | | Form | 0.02% Sodium Azide | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Synthetic cyclic peptide (common to all PDE7B variants). | | Specificity | Species Crossreactivity: Human. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. | | Alternate names | PDE7B Protein |
