Phosphorylated serine (phosphoserine) is an alpha amino acid that together with phosphothreonine is one of the most ubiquitously modified amino acids in proteins. Many hormones, such as adrenaline (epinephrine), alter the activities of enzymes by stimulating the phosphorylation of serine and threonine, and these can have profound effects on cellular signal transduction, apoptosis and carcinogenesis.

Recommended Dilution	ELISA: 1:5,000
	Western Blot: 1:500

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
