Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Mouse Affinity Purified B IH
Tyrosine residues are phosphorylated by a number of oncogene protein kinases and growth factor receptors. P4078-02 may be used to study the biological significance of such protein modifications.
Catalog #P4078-02
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot, isolation of phosphotyrosine containing proteins and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 1:100
High concentrations of salt (0.2M) and divalent cations (1mM) may inhibit binding of this antibody.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Note Fluorescein, which has a maximum absorbance at 492nm and an emission maximum at 518nm has been covalently attached to anti-Phosphotyrosine and purified to assure optimal fluorochrome/protein (F/P) molar ratios.
SourceTissue culture
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
