Protein kinases that phosphorylate the hydroxyl group of tyrosine residues of proteins have been implicated in cell transformation by some retroviruses and in regulation of normal cell growth by some polypeptide growth factors (1). Antibodies to tyrosine phosphorylated proteins are helpful in facilitating the identification of tyrosine kinase substrates (2).

Recommended Dilution	Western Blotting: 1ug/ml
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add glycerol (40-50%)aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
