| TGS1 is an 853aa nuclear receptor coactivator-interacting protein, actively participating in transcriptional regulation. It belongs to the methyltransferase superfamily and trimethylguanosine synthase family and may form homooligomers. TGS1 is known to play an important role in catalyzing the methylation steps for the conversion of the 7-monomethylguanosine (m(7)G) caps of snRNAs and snoRNAs to a 2,2,7-trimethylguanosine (m(2,2,7)G) cap structure. TGS1 interacts with CREBBP/CBP, EED/WAIT1, EP300/P300, NCOA6/PRIP, PPARBP/PBP and SMN and is ubiquitously expressed in most of the tissues. | | | Catalog # | P4186-71F | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA.
