| Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) a potent mitogen, has been implicated as a regulator of cell proliferation during development and in wound healing and in the stimulation of cell growth. PDGF exerts it biological effects by binding with different affinities to two distinct cell surface receptors; the a-receptor and the b-receptor. PDGF Receptor b constitutes a subfamily among the protein tyrosine kinase receptors. Structurally the protein has an extracellular part organized in five immunoglobulin-like domains, and the intracellular part containing tyrosine kinase domains with hydrophilic inserts of 100aa. | | | Catalog # | P4258-20V | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot.
