Phenylethanolamine-N-methyltransferase (PNMT) is an enzyme converting noradrenaline to adrenaline. The enzyme is present in adrenomedullary cells and in the brain neurons.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin sections). Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionImmunohistochemistry: 1:400-1:800 (PAP) with overnight incubation at 4°C.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive ControlDEPC-fixed paraffin sections of rat adrenal gland.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, dH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
