| Pokemon is a 584aa protein containing 1 BTB (POZ) domain and 4 C2H2-type zinc fingers. It is involved in transcriptional regulation and influencing the switch from cellular proliferation to terminal differentiation. It is a cellular factor that preferentially associates with active chromatin and that can specifically stimulate Tat-activated HIV-1 transcription.
