Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Affinity Purified B IP
Presenilin 1 and presenilin 2 are transmembrane proteins belonging to the presenilin family. Mutation of presenilin genes has been linked to early onset of Alzheimer’s disease, probably functioning through its associated gamma-secretase activity for amyloid-beta protein processing (1,2). Endogenous presenilin mainly exists in a heterodimeric complex formed from the endoproteolytically processed N-terminal (34kD) and C-terminal (~20kD) fragments (2,3).
Catalog #P6300-40A
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionsWestern Blot: 1:1000
