Specifications

Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Mouse Affinity Purified B IP IH IF
Catalog #P9007-13
Human PgR exists in two forms 116kD (B-form) and 81kD (A-form). It acts as ligand activated transcription factor to regulate expression of the target genes. Null mutation in PgR gene leads to pleiotrophic reproductive abnormalities. Expression of PgR has been suggested to reflect a intact estrogen regulatory machinery and therefore, predict better clinical response to endocrine therapy than ER alone.
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Sedimentation in Sucrose Gradient. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionImmunoprecipitation (Use Protein G): 2ug/mg protein lysate
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml for 2hrs at RT
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:50-1:100 for 60 min at RT. Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive ControlT47D or breast Carcinoma.
