Human PgR exists in two forms	116kD (B-form) and 81kD (A-form). It acts as ligand activated transcription factor to regulate expression of the target genes. Null mutation in PgR gene leads to pleiotrophic reproductive abnormalities.
Applications	Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions	Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded): 1:50-1:100 for 20 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
	Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
