15-Hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH) is a novel tumor suppressor in the COX-2 pathway. The protein is found in many normal tissues and appears to be down-regulated in colorectal and lung carcinoma tissue.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections). Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: bands may be seen at 29kD and 58kD.

Positive Control Treated A549 lung carcinoma cell lysates (see note) and LoVo colon carcinoma cell lysates.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
