15-Hydroxyprostaglandin dehydrogenase (15-PGDH) is a novel tumor suppressor in the COX-2 pathway. The protein is found in many normal tissues and appears to be down-regulated in colorectal and lung carcinoma tissue.

Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: bands may be seen at 29kD (the active form) and 58kD. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
Positive ControlsTreated A549 lung carcinoma cell lysates and LoVo colon carcinoma cell lysates.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
