| BRFF-HPC1™ is a complete serum-free medium designed for establishing new cell lines from human prostate tissue.3 Epithelial cell lines, from both benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostatic carcinoma have been established and maintained in this medium. This medium contains dihydrotestosterone. For optimum cell attachment, use FNC Coating Mix®. | | | Catalog # | P9054 | | Form | Ready-to-use with all necessary growth factors. Antibiotic-free. Supplied frozen. | | pH | 7.2–7.5 (5% CO2 atmosphere is recommended for culture.) | | Conductivity | 10-16mS | | Sterility Test | Specification: Detection of microbial growth. | | Test Sample: 0.1ml into each media (in triplicate): | | Incubation Conditions: 37°C for 48 hrs. | | Storage and Stability | For short-term storage store at 4°C. Stable for 4-6 weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
