| Pulmonary surfactant is a lipid-rich material that prevents lung collapse by lowering surface tension at the air-liquid interface in the alveoli of lung. It is composed primarily of phospholipids (phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylglycerol) and lesser amounts of cholesterol and surfactant-associated protein. Prosurfactant Protein B is a precursor of a very hydrophobic protein of the surfactant. | | | Catalog # | P9054-85 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and ELISA.
