The p52 subunit (Mr 52,000) is the major antigen of the 19S cap complex, which is a subcomplex of the 26S proteasome, implicated in ATP- and ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation.

Applications	Suitable for use in Western Blot. Not recommended for Immunofluorescence and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution	Western Blot: 1:5-1:10 when using the ECL method. Dilution buffer: 0.15M PBS with 0.1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
