| PGP9.5, Protein Gene Product 9.5, is a ubiquitin hydrolase which is widely expressed in neuronal tissues and represents 1-2% of total soluble brain proteins. PGP9.5, also known as ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase 1 (UCHL-1), is involved in the regulation of the ubuiquitin pathway. This product stains neuronal cell bodies and axons in the CNS and periphery, small nerve fibers in peripheral tissues, neuroendocrine cells in the pituitary, thyroid, pancreas and tumors of the DNES. | | | Catalog # | P9102-70A | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilutiosn | Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:100-1:400. Fixation in 95% ethanol/ 5% acetic acid for 2-3 hours prior to paraffin embedding is recommended. Specimens which have not been fixed in acetic acid/alcohol will require pretreatment using microwave-citrate buffer method. | | ELISA: 1:500-1:2000 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
