| PP-2 C alpha/beta is heterodimer located in the mitochondrial matrix. Within the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, PP-2 C alpha/beta serves to catalyze the dephosphorylation and concomitant reactivation of the E1 component's alpha subunit.
