| PPP3R2 is a calcium-dependent, calmodulin stimulated serine/threonine protein phosphatase. In eukaryotes, the phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of proteins on serine and threonine residues is an essential means of regulating a broad range of cellular functions including division, homeostasis and apoptosis. In general, the protein phosphatase (PP) holoenzyme is a trimeric complex composed of a regulatory subunit, a variable subunit and a catalytic subunit. | | | Catalog # | P9107-49 | | Source | Recombinant corresponding to aa1-173 from human PPP3R2 fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. | | AA Sequence | MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MSTMGNEASY PAEMCSHFDN DEIKRLGRRF KKLDLDKSGS LSVEEFMSLP ELRHNPLVRR VIDVFDTDGD GEVDFKEFIL GTSQFSVKGD EEQKLRFAFS IYDMDKDGYI SNGELFQVLK MMVGNNLTDW QLQQLVDKTI IILDKDGDGK ISFEEFSAVV RDLEIHKKLV LIV | | Molecular Weight | ~22kD (193aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
