Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Western Blot: 1:500 | | Immunoprecipitation: 1:50 | | Flow Cytometry: 1:20 | | Immunohistochemistry: 1:50 | | Immunfluorescence: 1:50 | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | Quality Control TestingImmunoblot Analysis | A 1:500 dilution of the lot detected endogenous PTEN in lysates from MCF7 cells. Immunoprecipitation: A 1:50 dilution of this antibody immunoprecipitated PTEN from MCF-7 cell lysate using protein G:agarose beads. Flow Cytometry: A 1:20 dilution of this antibody stained cells for intracellular staining for flow cytometry analysis. Immunohistochemistry: A 1:50 dilution of this antibody was used for detection of PTEN in immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human thyroid gland carcinoma. Immunfluorescence Staining: 1:50 dilution of this antibody was used for Immunfluorescence staining of paraformaldehyde fixed cells. Immunoblot Analysis: Lysate from MCF-7 cells was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF and probed with anti-PTEN (1:500). Proteins were visualized using goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and chemiluminescence detection. Arrow indicates PTEN (54kD). | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Clone No | 7i53 | | Host | Rabbit | | Concentration | As reported | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in 50mM Tris-Glycine, pH 7.4, 0.15M NaCl, 0.01% sodium azide, 0.05% BSA, 40% glycerol. | | Immunogen | Synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human PTEN. | | Specificity | Recognizes the C-terminal domain of PTEN. | | | Important Note | This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
