| RAP2A is a signaling protein involved in small GTPase mediated signal transduction activated by guanine nucleotide-exchange factors (GEF) EPAC and EPAC2, in a cAMP-dependent manner, and GFR. This membrane protein belongs to the small GTPase superfamily and Ras family and contains domains required for GTP binding and a Ras-like C-terminal motif for post-translational lipid binding and subsequent anchoring to the plasma membrane. Apart from having a possible role in membrane shedding, RAP2A also functions as a slowly responding molecular switch in the RAP1A signaling cascade and also interacts with ARHGAP29, the putative specific effector of RAP2A. | | | Catalog # | R1120-60 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
