The RasGRPs are a family of Ras activators that possess diacylglycerol-binding C1 domains (1). RasGRP3 is an activator for H-Ras, R-Ras and Ras-associated protein-1/2, and has emerged as an important mediator of signaling downstream from receptor coupled phosphoinositide turnover in B and T cells (2). It has been demonstrated that RasGRP3 undergoes phosphorylation at Thr-133 upon B cell receptor cross-linking, thereby resulting in its activation. Moreover, mutation of Thr-133 in RasGRP3 alone severely impaired its ability to activate Ras in B cell receptor signaling (3).

Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
