| The recombinant RFP (dsRed) was expressed and purified from transformed E. coli using a method that ensures high purity and maximal RFP fluorescence. Endotoxin was removed, so the protein is suitable for in vivo injection or cell culture applications. The protein is a 27.6kDa monomers containing a N-terminus 6x His-Tag with Ex./Em. = 557/585nm, extinction coefficient (e 280nm = 34380 M-1 Cm-1). | | | Catalog # | R1310-01B | | Endotoxin | <0.1ng/ug | | Storage and Stability | Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | Molecular Weight | 27.6 kDa | | Source | E. coli | | Purity | ~97% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC) | | Form | Supplied as a lyophilized powder.
