| RSV is so named from the formation of syncytia, or multinucleated masses of fused cells. Two virally specified surface glycoproteins are prominent in RSV. The large glycoprotein is designated G and the other fusion protein is designated F. In addition, two distinct groups may be present in RSV, Group A and/or Group B. | | | Catalog # | R1595-11 | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA and the detection of RSV. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Recommended Pair | Suitable for use as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody. | | Matched to R1595-12 as the capture or solid phase antibody. | | Hybridoma | Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
