Reveromycin C is a minor analogue of the reveromycin complex isolated from a Streptomyces sp. Published information suggests that reveromycin C exhibits comparable potency to reveromycin A, its butyl homologue. In Microbial Screening Technologies in-house screens Reveromycins C and A had similar biological profiles but Reveromycin C was generally more potent.
