ApplicationsSuitable for use in Blood Group Typing, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionDirect Agglutination Tests: Slide test, tube test and microplate test.
Immunohistochemistry: Analysis of Rh antigens.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
HybridomaLymphoblastoid cell line with stable anti-C production with murine myeloma X63-Ag8-653.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

SpecificityRecognizes human Rho(C) antigen of the Rhesus system system of blood typing. Anti-RhoC variants reactivity: R1R2, R1RZ, R1wR1w, R1wr, rwr, Cw, R1wR1x, Cx, rsr. Does not crossreact with other Rhesus antigens. The immunogen (RhoC) bears no relationship to the RhoC-GTPase which is an oncogenic protein.
