| Rubella virus is a human pathogen that causes Rubella (also known as German measles). Rubella is a mild disease characterised by a low-grade fever and possibly a rash. Infection of a woman during the first trimester of pregnancy is far more serious and can lead to a range of birth defects commonly known as congenital rubella syndrome (CRS). | | | Catalog # | R9700-06E | | The E2 glycoprotein is disulfide-linked to the E1 glycoprotein to form heterodimer spikes on the surface of the virus. | | Applications | Suitable for use in ELISA, Hemagglutination, and Immunoblot.
