| The synaptonemal complex is a proteinaceous complex that apparently mediates synapses during the zygotene stage and then disintegrates. It is a complex structure that unites homologous chromosomes during the prophase stage of meiosis. It is the result of chromosome pairing interactions and not the cause of them. | | | Catalog # | S0519-90B | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (paraffin-embedded sections). Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Host | Rabbit | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | A synthetic peptide made to the C-terminal region of the human SCP3 protein. | | Specificity | This antibody is specific for human SCP3.
