Secretory Component is an epithelial transport receptor for polymeric IgA and IgM. Antibody to secretory component has been shown to be useful for identifying glandular carcinomas.

Applications	Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions	Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded): 1:100-1:200 for 20-60min, RT. To stain formalin-fixed tissues, boil tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20min, then cool 20min RT.
	Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability	May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
