Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Goat Affinity Purified B
This gene belongs to the septin family of GTPases. Members of this family are required for cytokinesis. Expression is upregulated by retinoic acid in a human teratocarcinoma cell line. The specific function of this gene has not been determined. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Catalog #S0950
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: ~40kD band seen in Human Brain lysate. Recommended for use at 0.5-2.0ug/ml.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive ControlHuman Brain lysate
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
