Alpha-Sarcoglycan is present in normal muscle, but it has a differential expression in certain instances of muscular dystrophy. This antibody will help indicate the presence or absence of alpha-sarcoglycan.

Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 1:50-1:100
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:200 for 1 hr. at RT

Positive Control
Western Blot: Skeletal muscle, band at approximately 50kD
Immunohistochemistry: Normal human striated muscle, continuous membrane staining.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
