| sFRP4 belongs to the sFRP family whose members contain a cysteine-rich domain homologous to the Wnt-binding domain of the Frizzled proteins. SFRP4 is a circulating protein that can function as a phosphatonin as well as an antagonist of Wnt signaling. | | | Catalog # | S1012-89 | | Applications | Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. Detection limit for rhsFRP-4 is ~2ng/well. | | Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Detection limit for rhsFRP-4 is ~20ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. | | Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 24 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Polyclonal | | Isotype | IgG | | Host | Goat | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~0.1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 5% trehalose, 40% glycerol. | | Purity | Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. Endotoxin: < 0.1 EU per 1ug antibody (LAL method). | | Immunogen | NS0-derived rhsFRP-4 | | Specificity | Recognizes human sFRP-4.
