Clone Host Grade Applications
Monoclonal Mouse Affinity Purified B IH IF
The sm (Smith) is an autoantigen on a series of particles composed of RNA and protein. Unlike RNP, the sm antigen is resistant to RNase, but partially sensitive to trypsin. It is involved in the pathogenesis of Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Antibodies to sm are found in 20-30% of patients with SLE.
Catalog #S1014-29B
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Affinity Purification, Electron Microscopy, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 2hrs at RT
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1-2ug/ml for 30 minute at RT. No special pretreatment is required for immunohistochemical staining of formalin/paraffin tissues.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control LS174T cells. Tonsil.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at-20°C.
