ApplicationsSuitable for use in Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation, EMSA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionWestern Blot: 0.5-2ug/ul. 3T3 cell lysate probed with anti-STAT2 (0.5ug/ul).
Immunocytochemistry: Positive immunostaining reported on fresh cells xed with 3.7% formaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.2% Triton1.
EMSA: Supershift STAT2 containing complexes
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Antigen Control 3T3 lysate. Add 2.5ul of 2-mercaptoethanol/100ul of lysate and boil for 5 minutes to reduce the preparation. Load 20ug of reduced lysate per lane for minigels.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
