Stromal cell-derived factor-1 beta is a stromal derived CXC chemokine. It signals through CXCR4 receptor. Recombinant murine SDF-1B is an 8.5kD protein containing 72 amino acid residues.

Biological ActivityDetermined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood monocytes using a concentration range of 50-100ng/ml.
Storage and StabilityLyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
