Clone Host Grade Applications
Polyclonal Rabbit Purified E B IP IH IC IF
Antibody reacts with superoxide dismutase from bovine erythrocytes showing a 33kD band against this metallo-enzyme (Cu2+-Zn2+). The enzyme catalyzes the destruction of O2- and protects against harmful free radical effects. SOD is found in the CSF of patients with brain tumors although not readily detected in normal brain. Suitable for most immunological assays, including SOD quantitation in RBCs.
Catalog #S8060-16H
ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry (Fr) and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionELISA: 1:1000-1:2000.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
