| Syk protein is expressed in immature T cells, all B cells, basophils, hepatocytes, platelets, and erythrocytes. It functions in some T cell receptor signalling processes in addition to B cell receptor and integrin-mediated signal transduction processes. |

| Catalog # | S9100-06 |
| Applications | Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. |
| Recommended Dilutions | Immunoprecipitation: 2ug/mg protein lysate. Use Protein A. |
| Immunohistochemistry (formalin/paraffin):1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissue requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. |
| Western Blot: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 2hrs at RT. |
| Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. |
| Positive Control | Raji, K562, HL-60, U937 cells or lymphoma. |
| Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
