Syk protein is expressed in immature T cells, all B cells, basophils, hepatocytes, platelets, and erythrocytes. It functions in some T cell receptor signalling processes in addition to B cell receptor and integrin-mediated signal transduction processes.

ApplicationsSuitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended DilutionsImmunoprecipitation (Native and denatured): 2ug/mg protein lysate. Use Protein A.
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin):1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissue requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.
Western Blot: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 2 hours at RT.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive ControlRaji, K562, HL-60, U937 cells or lymphoma.
Storage and StabilityMay be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
