The synaptonemal complex is a proteinaceous complex that apparently mediates synapses during the zygotene stage and then disintegrates. It is a complex structure that unites homologous chromosomes during the prophase stage of meiosis. It is the result of chromosome pairing interactions and not the cause of them.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunoflourescence, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunoflourescence (IC): 1:100-1:750 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:750 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of mouse SCP3.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide.
