| Syntaxin is membrane integrated Q-SNARE protein participating in exocytosis. Syntaxin is composed of an N-terminal regulatory domain (Habc), a SNARE domain (known as H3), and a single C-terminal transmembrane domain. The SNARE(H3) domain binds to both synaptobrevin and SNAP-25 forming the core SNARE complex. | | | Catalog # | S9200-02A | | Applications | Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. | | Recommended Dilution | Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:5000 | | Western Blot: 1:1000 | | Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. | | Recommended Secondary Antibodies | F(ab')2 rabbit anti-mouse IgG HRP | | Hybridoma | Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse NSO myeloma cell line. | | Storage and Stability | May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | | CAS Number | n/a | | Clone Type | Monoclonal | | Isotype | IgG1 | | Clone No | 3H2896 | | Host | Mouse | | Source | Human | | Concentration | ~1mg/ml | | Form | Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.1% sodium azide. | | Purity | Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. | | Immunogen | Human synaptic proteins. | | Specificity | Recognizes human syntaxin.
