| Syntaxin 1B/STX1B is an ~33kD member of the Syntaxin family. It is a single-pass type IV transmembrane protein that is potentially involved in the docking of synaptic vesicles at presynaptic active zones. The cytoplasmic domain of Syntaxin 1B contains a coiled-coil Syntaxin domain aa29-180 which is implicated in the docking of synaptic vesicles with the presynaptic plasma membrane and a t-SNARE coiled coil domain aa191-253. Within the cytoplasmic domain, human Syntaxin 1B shares 100% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat Syntaxin 1B. | | | Catalog # | S9205-03Z | | Applications | Suitable for use in Western Blot.
